Butchers & fresh food
Chilled fulfilment, cutoffs, incoming stock, product lead times and production lists.
For butchers ↗TruBytes Delivery Date Manager lets customers choose valid shipping, local delivery or pickup dates from the cart while your store applies product lead times, cutoffs, capacity rules, postcode restrictions and fulfilment logic behind the scenes.
Free plan available · Built from the real fulfilment needs of an online food business.

A basic Shopify date picker answers one question: which date did the customer choose?
TruBytes is designed for stores where the harder question is: which dates can this particular order actually be fulfilled?
That matters when cakes need five days to make, fresh products arrive on specific dates, Saturday capacity is limited, some products are pickup-only, or local delivery rules change by postcode.
Give customers clear date and time-slot choices before checkout while keeping the underlying rules under merchant control.
Configure delivery days, blackout dates, future booking windows, lead days and cutoffs for each fulfilment method. Time slots can carry their own capacity limits.
Useful for fresh, handmade, seasonal and made-to-order stores where one basket can contain products with very different fulfilment requirements.
Use order, value, product and time-slot limits to control how much work can land on a delivery day.
Shopify tells you what customers ordered. TruBytes helps organise what needs preparing for a specific delivery day.
Run local delivery and collection without forcing every area or location into the same schedule.
Phone, assisted and manually created orders can use the same delivery logic rather than becoming a separate spreadsheet problem.
On Pro and Ultimate, merchants can set and edit delivery details directly from Shopify Draft Orders, with product restrictions, availability and capacity considered in the editor.
The app is particularly useful where fulfilment depends on preparation time, capacity, stock timing or local delivery rules.
